My name is David ‘Zacarte’ Schlatter, ‘Zacarte’ being my Stage name for 25 years as a professional comedian and freelance writer. I have been a political activist since my youth, following in the footsteps of my parents. Mother the vocal activist, Dad the quiet listener and the one whose advice was often seeked. That makes me a great listener with an occasional big mouth.

My life has been nothing short of blessed; I have driven or flown to most every small and large city in America. I have seen, and when possible experienced all the culture, history, politics, desperation, salutation, great event to the most solemn across this the greatest nation on earth. I still fly, traveling thousands of miles each year, and it is my honor to bring to you, what I believe to be, the voice of the people.
